It seems like you forgot again how you were supposed to be.

In the saga of life, you are not just born to remain a hero in your tale, but to outperform as a legend in the stories of others.

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 38

 धूमेनाव्रियते वह्निर्यथादर्शो मलेन च |
यथोल्बेनावृतो गर्भस्तथा तेनेदमावृतम् || 38||

dhūmenāvriyate vahnir yathādarśho malena cha
yatholbenāvṛito garbhas tathā tenedam āvṛitam

Just as a fire is covered by smoke, a mirror is masked by dust, and an embryo is concealed by the womb, similarly one’s knowledge gets shrouded by desire.

All of us are born with natural talents, god-gifted genius, genetically crafted potentials, acquired observational inspirations, and discipline-driven skills development. With all of these, we are supposed to forge the flair to create a tale of victory with a streak of accomplishments and valour in the chronicles. Yet most of us forgot what we were capable of, either due to childhood traumas, a melancholic state of mind, or traumas of treason. If it is the case, then the destiny would have an incomprehended greater meaning. The irony is that most of us forgot our potential not because of the described reasons, but something more disturbing. Today I wish to explain about one of such crafted realities that you are forced into, without your realised consent.

The Great Disconnect:-

The cancerous part of illusions and delusions in the current Civilisation's functionality has become successful in making people not realise what they are losing.

In the name of

Urban living we were taken away from Nature.

Academics, we were taken away from Education.

Healthcare, we were taken away from Healing.

Till these examples, we were just losing our connection with the universe, but the ongoing trends are even scarier

In the name of

         Technology, we lost Sustainability

Social Media we lost our Relations

AI, we are losing the Abilities of the Brain.

The saddest part of this reality is that most of us don't even realize it's happening. Over time, when mankind forgets what it used to be, it can’t imagine what it can be.

As a writer, it is very easy for me to make you trust me, but the hardest part is making you believe in yourself. It is not because people lack self-belief, but because human brains are not wired for success; we are wired for survival. Thus, to flourish and thrive with propose in life, we must step out of the limits and patterns of biology and adopt to growth mindset. The journey to become a better person and achieve glory demands opening many doors. Yet the toughest part is to convince you to begin the thought of realisation that "Where you are is not where you are supposed to remain, and with blood, sweat, and tears, you need to start opening the doors to walk into new paths."

Imagine a series of 3 doors,

Near the first, where most of the people remain, with

Social Media consuming their Growth,

Consumerism draining their Savings,

Scrolling - draining their Productivity,

Rotting - draining their Creativity.

All these activities weren’t people’s conscious decisions, but these are somehow the unvalidated choices they made that resulted in ending up in the loop of resource exploitation. Though the adaptation to digital life was psychologically designed to be addictive with the dopamine-driven software-based algorithmic functionality, most of us remain unsatisfied by the end of the day. The thirst for satisfaction, even after the rollercoaster ride of dopamine through the constant scrolling itself, is a hint that you are craving a purpose, a fulfillment, and a contribution.

Yet the thirst remained at the thought level because you are not given the time to think for yourself. The magnetic addiction of the algorithm drags you toward scrolling rather than success. The digital slavery shackles the freedom of thought. "Your brain is wired to survive, not for success". Competition is a phenomenon that advancements in civilisations have introduced, but to achieve success, you need to rewire your brain and adapt to an epic saga.

Adapting is not something new for you

Imagine yourself accompanying homo sapiens around 300,000 years ago.

Your competition no longer exists.

Your survival becomes your obvious priority

Your reflexes don’t match your opponent’s species.

You are the target prey to faster, stronger, smarter species.

Yet you and I are the evidence that we humans survived 3,00,000 years, with no claws, sharp teeth, and jaws, but with a human brain. The only aspect of humans that made it as a dominant species is though we might be weak, we have hope and we can hold hope in tough times, and that is what makes us unique.

Hope: Your Most Underrated Weapon:-

Hope is a divine supplement that pulsates the numbed spirit with the thumping courage, to stimulate you for unleashing the never imagined and unrealised potential to face the problem that is bigger than your current understanding of it. Hope is the supplement that we use when we are stuck in a cluster of uncluttered challenges, which are tough to define and seem impossible to answer.

Why are we discussing "hope" now?

Because it is vital when all of your weapons are stolen from you and yet you one facing your enemy on the battlefield.

Who are our enemies, and what is stolen from us now?

We are currently living in the "Attention Economy", where corporate giants of digital media are trading their fortune on your retention. What makes you press skip is getting vanished, and what makes you retain in watching is thriving, whether it might be advertisements, propaganda, or conspiracy. You are being experimented on and getting tricked.

You are scrolling the height of Mount Everest in 20 days, and your attention span has degraded to 13 seconds. Visual hooks and Audio hooks are preying on your attention.

Notifications one distracting your attention and seducing your thirst for the hormonal anticipation of significant small acts. Without your realization, you are surrendering your cognitive capacities in the name of entertainment.

From binge watching the web series to movies with breaks to YouTube vlogs to Instagram reels, not just human attention span, but also cognitive capacities like rationality, decision making, creative thinking, and critical problem solving were being lost. Because your brain was busy in getting adapted to the digital world. Not just Al, it’s human brains too that are in training mode, unlike the progressive Al, we are in the backward evolution.

Soon or later,

After forgetting the purposeful thinking,

We fall into the trap of a lack of satisfaction and mediocre death.

Thus, I urge you to stand for yourself to avoid this trap.

Better to work for your own purpose rather than being a target prey for the attention economy.

Define a GOAL

Your pride is going to say It's Impossible.

Your experience says it’s "Risky".

Your procrastination says it’s "Pointless"

But if your gut says, " Give it a Try", then it’s your purpose.

We humans, our entirety, are naturally connected; destiny is the thread that keeps us connected.

When you stand for your own purpose, your fulfillment inspires others. Your heroic journey of breaking the shackles of mediocrity is what radiates positivity in the radius of your reach in public appearances.

A hero might be a temporary one, his legacy may live after him, they may grow older without you, but you are the reason behind their dreams. You are one of the hopes that they either witnessed or knew about. You are not the one who stands by them in their struggles, but you are the one who stands by them in their spirits in their glorious battles for purposeful Living.

Don’t let your potential fade like dust on a forgotten mirror.
Clean it. Sharpen it. Reflect light onto others.
You were not just born to live.
You were chosen to lead.
Just like a mirror dulled by dust forgets how to shine, you may have forgotten your strength.
But I didn’t. I still see the warrior in you.
And if you still hold even a flicker of hope—
that’s enough to restart the fire.

Similar to our opponents 3,00,000 years ago, today's opponents are faster, stronger, and smarter. Our reflections don't match with the speed of AI's creation and Social Media algorithms' thinking in adapting our addiction to its feed, and this time just survival is not our priority; if realized we shall claim the power of brain and create a better world for tomorrow.
